I hope you all are having a wonderful New Year!

I hope you are all having a fantastic start to your 2025 season! I am excited for the new year and that this is my second year publishing a newsletter on Substack.

2024 was a year of many new endeavors as I decided to leave the ship life to pursue writing. And while it hasn’t been the easiest of years, it has been filled with excellent lessons.

New Years 2024

Last year, I welcomed the New Year while hanging out in Buenos Aires with my new partner and some friends. This year, we celebrated by visiting my 40th country and ringing in the New Year on the beaches of Thailand.

Now that we are on the second island during our visit, I can see why Thailand is such a popular place to travel. There are many amazing things to do here, and the wild and ocean life is fantastic. But I must say I am excited to travel to big cities soon.

In the upcoming weeks, we will head to Bangkok, and then I will be off to the States to first my new baby nephew! Then, it is back in South America to start another year of travel.

While we have most of our 2025 schedule booked, we still have a lot of things unplanned, and I am excited to see what travel trips will pop up along the way.

This year will also be another year of dreaming and chasing as I move forward in my writing career and work towards getting my debut travel memoir traditionally published.

So, I hope you release what is no longer serving you this year and do something that terrifies you. You’ll be surprised by how alive it makes you feel.
